Thrift Store Treasures

I love to spend time browsing through thrift stores.  You never know what you'll find.  My most recent trip landed some shoe box finds.

I love to include either a stuffed animal or doll in a shoe box.  Something to cuddle and love.  Dolls can be pricey and need to be small enough to fit into a box.  I came across these three:

Teddy bear - 25 cents, larger doll - 50 cents, curly haired doll - $1.

Other toys I discovered: skipping ropes - 85 cents and a larger car with opening doors - $1.30

These toys were all in "like new" condition, or I wouldn't have bought them.  If you look carefully enough you can find all sorts of items in great condition.  Perfect for shoe boxes.

Is God calling you?

After prayerful consideration this was my last year heading up our packing party at our church and I, Tammy, will be signing off from this blog and facebook page.  It has been a pleasure and a joy to post on here! You have all been awesome!

With that said we are looking for someone from Canada to step up and take over.  If you feel God tapping you, we would love to hear from you!  

I want to thank Sonya for coming along side and helping me this past year! She has been a real blessing. She will continue to post. 

I pray that this page will continue to be a blessing so that you are able to pack more boxes allowing more children and their families and their communities to hear about the one true God! May eternity be changed forever!
